@2900, I miss Hockley too! I live no more than a 5 minute walk... Such a shame to see it go, but still lucky to see the BCT logo engraved into the side wall, and some reminisces of the 'plaques'. Sorry to get off topic...

@2900 Sounded a real good place to work - what routes were operated out of there just before it closed? I don't have a clue as it was a bit before I came into the world of buses!

I'm probably a bit young to remember but I think some of Hockley's routes at the time were the 8A/C, 16, 66, 68A/C, 101. Think there may be more. Sorry for going off topic.
