tbh the only thing you can class as unusual on the 24 is E200's.

I,ve done 5 years at Hockley garage brilliant place less than 200 drivers we all knew each other by name not numbers , great canteen , retired drivers came in every lunchtime to play cards , great characters with great story's to tell,  now at West Bromwich  less said the better.

@2900 Sounded a real good place to work - what routes were operated out of there just before it closed? I don't have a clue as it was a bit before I came into the world of buses!

I'm probably a bit young to remember but I think some of Hockley's routes at the time were the 8A/C, 16, 66, 68A/C, 101. Think there may be more. Sorry for going off topic.
