That is correct! New drivers are placed on where there is demand.
Back in 2016, i was at Perry Barr. I was put on the Sutton rota as there was a major demand for drivers to go onto that rota. The Sutton rota was, and still is I believe, deemed a rota where only drivers with a high number of service years were allowed on the rota.
All garages have a new starter rota where new drivers are placed onto that rota unless there is a shortage of drivers. Only then, they're placed anywhere. I saw a new driver being placed on the X1/X2 rota. That was the same as the Sutton rota mentioned above
Your new Tamworth driver!

I think your just letting your hate of for this event, littering for nothing to do for how the 60s operated

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on March 15, 2025, 01:24:43 PMRight but the same argument can be raised for Christians and Christmas or any religious events for example in Wolverhampton I forgot the religion but they do a Street Parade the 529 is one of the routed affected and it is diverted and can be Late. It is a case of because the main route is closed or blocked Traffic will go down another route where the bus is also going and that gets congested. It once took me around Christmas 10/15 minutes to get from Wolverhampton Market to the bus station on a bus. I had missed the 79 I wanted to get but due to traffic it hadn't gone very far and I made the next one. Naturally when there is a religious occasion or big event on Concert, Football Match, People wanting to visit a new shop, famous person visiting the roads become congested as they can't handle the volume of traffic.
concerts n football n christmas markets arent everyday

those r normally 2 3 days, not a whole month they shd divert the late 60s because a month of delay is unacceptable

i genuinely dont mean any issues or problems jst pointing out.

in theory, there would be a shortage of drivers on the rotas nobody wants to drive meaning new drivers are more likely to end up there

im actually curious to know the rotas at all the garages, but im sure there is already a thread on that + i will get admin police on me as its not "birmingham central" talk

No need to exaggerate, if your gonna call someone a angry veg, say it to their face, going on a rant must show how bored you are

If I remember right, there was notices on Eid last year that the 14 was running to a special timetable for a few days. Not sure if it was due to a lack of workforce or whether they were having trouble getting down Alum Rock Road.

I believe only late night drivers do both 14 & 94/95 as far as I know. That's what I heard anyway.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.
