And where would those swb come from.  Don't you think I  would havevallicated minis if there were any.

Should have just bought some ex igo ones? When they use B7RLES on the x20/x21/x22 when they need deckers and then there's a tendered roaming around empty with 70 seats free, it is rather annoying from a passenger perspective

Tbf I don't think an Urban 2 would be able to do some of the tight turns on the 36. A LWB E200 could probably get around them. Or NX could of probably bought a couple of second hand iGo SWB's but NX don't seem to  like buying second hand, 731-734 are an exception, but they probably don't because of how unreliable they are and probably put them off buying them.

Is it me or are the frequencies never updated on the website? For example the 23 doesn't every 15 minutes any more.
23 - Bartley Green
76 - Northfield
X20 - Birmingham Via Longbridge, Northfield & QE Hospital / University

Agreed that is a bit stupid. The 48 only leaves 5 minutes after too!! The 19 is nearly always going to get more passengers than the 10H as it arrives before and starts boarding before the 10H does, especially when majority of time it seems to be late

You're forgetting that the 10's are tendered services, NXWM are not responsible for the timetabling.

If you could get a B7RLE around the 36 it would be operated by them.

Why should NX have bought some ex Igo vehicles, do you know who was selling them, the condition of them, what price they wanted?

Look at how many routes you've said can't have B7RLES round. I remember the 222 used to have B7RLES, all be it not ideal. Why did you take on the contract if you haven't got buses to use on them?

I'm referring to the 36 which is the original question, which is too tight around the roads in Acocks Green for a B7RLE. NX did have buses to operate the routes parked up 43xx tridents which is the main allocation for that route.

Can a E200 MMC get round the A12 route, I've never seen one on there. But I assume so as, Diamond used to use long single deckers on that route years ago in 2015, for a while 30933 and 30402 were allocated daily?

I would have thought so. When NX operated it before (as 30/S3) it used full length singles (B10L and occasionally B7RLE), that was of course when it operated directly along Richmond Road, not sure if that new section via Lyndon Road has changed things.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

No, they cannot. E200MMC have a longer wheelbase and worse turning circle than B10L & B7RLE etc

Ah, I see now, thanks for the clarification. I used to catch the 30/S3 regularly, and I do recall some of the turns were just about manageable for those vehicles (Lincoln Road / The Avenue / Lincoln Rd N springs to mind), the B6LEs coped quite well, as did the Metrobuses.

It was out on the 10S yesterday but didn't have any destination showing, so I assume you couldn't see it on the tracker
