@clayderman

That E200MMC for the Unibus looks excellent - the other thing I like is the use of the black surrounds on the lights. Still think the NX E200MMCs would look good with the black surrounds; Scanias would look even better if after refurb if they kept the Silver surrounds (or had them painted black - D&M have that on their Scanias and it looks great).
I agree. On the contrary, I believe the red surrounds can deter us from the asymmetric layout of the E200MMC front - on the Scanias, I must admit, I miss the silver surrounds, however, the new red paint and revised logo placement had made *almost* the entire omnilink fleet uniform.

Here's another to add to the list of great liveries.

Stagecoach in Winchester. Notice, @Liberator9, black headlight surrounds. ;)

I'm not a great fan of the E200 MMC design but with that livery and the black headlight surrounds they look really smart. Impressed.

@clayderman

Yeah what I like about the new livery on the Scanias is the gold lines on the front under the windscreen - fits in well.

Very nice livery on that Stagecoach example - thanks!

That's very smart. I do like these blue 'inter-urban' liveries First are using.

I must say that the Social Travel livery is definetly one of my favourite liveries. It is quite simple but yet very effective. In my opinion the Social Travel livery looks very smart.

An operator who doesn't bother to display a fleetname on the vehicle, other than in the legal lettering. Very, very poor!

The livery should always give an indication of who operates the vehicle, even for peace of mind for intending passengers who then know which company they are dealing with and travelling on.

@Bryan - Yes maybe it would be good if these bus operators disayed fleetnames on their buses. But there are many bus operators all across the UK that dont display any fleetnames on their buses (i could probably think of around 20 operators off the top of my head that dont display fleetnames on their buses). At least Social Travel have a good looking smart livery - maybe they will add fleetnames to their buses in the future.

I feel as if I am banging my head against a brick wall here.

A bus livery + fleetname + service provided can equate to a good reputation and good income/profits. Those operators that don't provide this appear 'shady' and are often unreliable in the long-term.

How many of the operators you know of who do not show fleetnames on their vehicles will be around in a few years? Not many I would guess.

@Bryan - Just because a bus operator does not display a fleetname or a livery it does not mean that they are a bad operator. There are some bus operators in the UK that dont display a fleetname or a livery but are quite good operators. However there are also some bus operators in the UK that do display a fleetname and a livery on there vehicles but are quite poor operators. So i dont think that you can tell if a bus operator is good or not just based on whether they display a fleetname and / or a livery on their buses.

A simple question, why should an operator not show it's company name to intending passengers?

@Bryan - Yes it would be good if all bus operators displayed their fleetnames. But i suppose that some of them dont have the time or money to do this - and for some operators this just is not at the top of their list of things to do. I am sure that most local and regular passengers will know who is operating the service. For passengers who dont know who is operating the bus service - they can always look at the legal lettering before they board the bus.

If an operator cannot afford a £50 vinyl for a fleetname on the front of a bus then they are of no fit financial standing to be an operator, even Travel Express managed to buy fleetname stickers!

I shouldn't go waiting for a 54 if your eyesight is that bad as well!

A popular choice in this thread was Transdev Blazefield liveries,

Here's the latest 36 livery along with a brand new fleet:
