One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

More than likely the same stall Nath buys his from. In fact I remember him saying he thought he saw you at one point

Entirely possible, I did spend a lot of time round his part of the world, didn't notice him though

Also managed that entire route without a single Trident, this pleases me

Well, the 59 has been mostly Spectra and B5 operated (bit of a contrast!) recently, with the exception of yesterday when there were 3 B5s, I only noticed one Spectra (4017) and the rest were Tridents. Which bus did you have on the 59?

Kevin

5513 to Wednesfield then changed onto 4004 (so two spectras were there) -  and yes, bit of a bizzare contrast

Kevin, You got onto an 89 while i was on 5512. You never saw a trident along the route eh? At least 5 on the 59. I do remember saying to Matt i thought i saw you ;D

It was the Bandana that gave it away  ;D ;)

No he meant he did the whole round trip without any Tridents :)

Yesterday seen 1 hybrid (5514), 1 specta (4004)  on the 59 rest of the time I seen it, it was Tridents as I was hoping to get the rest of Spectra's but they seemed to be all over the shop, so decided to give it a miss

I'll try a sandwich from that place sometime. I've got no excuse not to. I've heard from a few people that they're good.

Back to buses - a Trident free day is good.

Hey, the Tridents are the best buses in the fleet ;) particularly the 09-plates at Pensnett..
