Route Branded Buses off Route

I saw 4048 (route 5 branded bus) on the 89 just a bit ago

Has it been completely re-branded then after its accident repairs? Or was the 5 branding just on the back?

it was dark and I couldn't see it but I saw the side branding and the top back window also
it may have 4046 I'm not to sure now I think about it

4046 is at Acocks Green. Was it the passenger side of 4048 you saw OH25?

Out on there again today. Amazing what you can see from BCC's video control room!

just rode 4048 on the 83 .. it's out on it today also!

to be honest I think WN have been ok recently at keeping branded buses on their own routes, but 2077 on the 59? on a Sunday? It must be for a bet or a P***take  :o

Or just parked at the front of the garage? At that time on a Sunday night I don't think a DD would be necessary especially as the 59 is every 12 minutes till end of service, and I can't see the harm in it having branding for another route.

Replaced a B5LH then as all the buses on the evening journeys were meant to be B5's.

Matt, The 59 last night was pretty busy for a single Decker.

I was referring to 8pm-ish onwards, when the 59 is rarely very busy let alone on a Sunday

You must mean 4048 Nathan? Has it lost its branding on the front panel. When I saw it outside the paint shop last week it just had it on the front top window and the rear

From What i can remeber its got every 8 minutes front window on the right, right side window (Every8 minutes) then the rear branding. Don't recall there being anything on the side nor front.  :)

I saw it too, while I was on 4086 on the 89, maybe 4048 will be debranded in the near future if it's being used for routes other than the 5

The boards I've seen it is only Saturday. As the weekday has peak workings so I guess that saves a bus.
