Route Branded Buses off Route

If I am correct at one time bus operators were fined if they ran a route branded bus off the route it was branded for. Is this correct?

Apparently the 83 & 89 are every 8 minutes between West Bromwich and Sutton Coldfield. 4048 was on there again. Saw it turning onto St Paul's Road from Holly Lane, West Bromwich bound on the 83

On there again today. Front and passenger side does not carry any branding, just the rear.

What else does the vehicle allocated to that school journey do?

I'm not sure. I think it was if a route branded bus was operated on a Centro tendered service not for that route or a route branded bus entered a bus station not served by that route Centro fined? I was just asking the question as to whether I was right about this or not. Judging by your response, Tony I was probably wrong.

Booked to get to Hateley Heath at 08:35, then probably garage i would have thought.

Maybe 4708 was due some maintainence, but was used on a schools service first?

Great Spot John that's the 2nd time a 957 Enviro has gone onto 900 if I remember correctly :)

This sighting always seems to happen when I'm not looking I've seen a 900 Enviro on the 957 but I've yet to see a 957 Enviro on the 900
