Seen 4896 on the 900 and 4904 on the 957 and 4898 & 4901 are out on the 60 today :)
Caught 4896 ex Coventry at lunch time. If this was its first day out it was a bit grubby (floor) upper saloon. Still "C'est la vive"

4903 now out on the road out was on Airport 900's today :)

4905 highest on the road, photos of 4903 & 4905 appearing on the main site in the next 30 min

Great Pics Tony! :)

Yes they do look smart when brand new and pictured in the sunshine. What's with BC meddling with their LED and dot matrix displays again, with new narrower service numbers? Seems like a backwards step in terms of visibility. The 29A now has a much smaller 'A' too.

I've noticed that for a few weeks now, all letter suffix were smaller. Along with the 97 showing 'P, A and L' - respectively.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Seen it.  Bit of an anti-climax really.  It was the same as the others.
Don't you start.

Has anyone got a list of which BC e400 4895-4913 batch are now in service? Are 4909-4913 still at Miller Street and are 2170/2175/2176 in service at Coventry yet? Does anyone know how many from 4914 onwards Perry Barr are getting for 7/46 and Sutton Coldfield routes?

The new E400's aren't for the 7/46 at PB but they will have the Toothpaste E400's off the sutton lines. They will no doubt appear on the 7/16/46/94/101 at some point.

There should be another 26 x E400 still to come, as 60 were thought to have been ordered in total. They may/may not all be for PB?

I'm not sure if those outstanding will form part of the 300 new buses due or whether there are a further 300 new buses due after the last of this years orders have been delivered?

The 94 is due to upgraded in some shape or form in the Autumn, so older E400's could be for that?

I think 4895-4899 & 4901-5 may have all now entered service at BC, whilst 4900 & 4906-8 should be in BC garage? The remainder are obviously still at MS

Tony

4909 and 4911 were collected from Miller Street today by BC to get them ready for service. Here is 4911 on its way
