As much as I like the enviro's, the new ones don't do it for me. I would like a few different types like Gemini's, but I guess they get a bigger discount by buying them all in bulk from one manufacture. How about some Volvo/scania enviro's? Stagecoach seem to have switched to the scania ones from dennis recently

I still think 4718 is the best, it has a nice whine when pulling away and seems to move when it wants to! Also prefer the swoops on the doors, and the curved upstairs rear window, oh and don't forget the unusal ticket machine location :)

Yes, but they are very slow (worse than the ADL E400s) and don't make any decent noise other than a growl (whereas the ADL's aren't as boring). But naturally, as is the way, they probably have a good fuel consumption and therefore will get ordered en masse >:(

They wouldn't exactly sound identical to 4565-84 as newer E400's have slightly different engines and plus have Euro 5

I'd love to see one on the 14 :-) There used to be the odd Enviro200 when they were new on a morning 14E journey to Tile Cross, but I'm sure that usual working is now trident.
