A person who knows how to run a transport company he will be missed if according to the story a buyer may be found the jobs can be saved.

bwsau cymru

yes a real shame....there fleet is simply superb and I will miss seeing there coaches go past my home on a sunday into Walsall. shame we are loosing a quality operator when there are so many bad ones around
campaigning for better transport for all

Westy

Our family used the trips for many years. :(

arrivaaston

Parrys coaches were a pain in the arse when it came to Cannock Bus Station but then again Happy days coaches are just as bad

Discodave

Anything which would upset Arriva would please me.  If Parrys was to put a bus service on and ran it like his coaches Arriva Cannock would soon be out of business.

Maybe rotala could buy the company to try to show arriva who's boss and get dve in charge of all of birmingham

How do you expect Rotala to show Arriva who's boss when Rotala's own WM businesses are in decline?

Discodave

There is a glimmer of hope.  I hope he does reconsider.

Due to the unprecedented response from passengers Dave is currently reconsidering the decision to close the company.

Not received a decent enough offer yet then ?  ::)

He has just run one of the best advertising campaigns ever! He got coverage in every local paper and every trade mag along with many places on the internet saying what a wonderful company he runs (no disagreement there) all for free.

If he would have paid for all that space it would have cost him a fortune. Not only running an excellent company he is also very clever at getting people to find out about what he does

No arguement from me there. Not only is it a high quality operation, It has been so for a good long time. They're also a sponsor of Wolverhampton speedway.

Have been for a while havent they. Not going to lie, when I first saw this thread the first thing to go through my head (before the "but they were such a good business" etc) was "wolves will have to find a new sponsor then
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....
