Where did that come from? 4202 has never been allocated and probably wont ever be allocated there. It was refurbished in october 2011. 4193 only got done a few months ago, 4197 is being done, so are the rest going to have a repaint and retrim so as to have a nice looking matching set rather than a mish mash

Is it fair to say that the routes that they remaining B6LE are operated on can only accommodate midi buses?

Ashley 4569

70/70a get b6s almost daily still, 69 also, 335/6 daily with one doing a trip on the 6.

lynx1103

The 70/69 rarely get Volvo B6`s Monday-Friday. The odd apperance on Saturday.

70A has 1-2 B6

and 335/336 use`s 2 which no other bus can accomondate on there

4137 made an appearance on the 336 a couple of weeks ago. There are too many low trees around Alumwell and parked cars. A double deck is not suitable for this route.

It will be interesting to see what eventually replaces the last few B6LE's at WA, I assume 12M single deckers are also too long

No doubt NX will stick with E200s.

Why couldn't they have kept some Solo's at Walsall for the Alumwell route?

(They might even have won the evening & Sunday contract, if they had!)

Lol thats nonsense but even if they had won it with solos, the route wouldnt have run due to breakdowns etc. Awful buses...

A couple of the alx200 darts may be 3601/3608 would suit the route well and both in NXWM livery.

The 335/336 can carry some good loads, 28 seaters on there would not be good. It was tried once but soon went back to 37 seaters

The other option is get the council to cut the trees back, double deckers are the same length as a B6LE and should be equally as maneuverable
