I don't think they had enough MMC for the 11 as it is anyway as the ALX400 and Gemini are always on there anyway, including 4295 & 4301.
Maybe the 11 could get new buses and then the 61XX can move onto the 4/4A or other City routes at other garages full time as part of the 200 new buses if thats still happening?
They have started unbranding the 11 on 61**

The compliance charges for the clean air zone got delayed two weeks as apparently (according to the incessant reports on BBC Radio 2 today) not enough people were aware of it being a thing.

Its a bit ridiculous really, I don't drive, I don't live or work in the city centre and I hardly ever travel there now. Yet I've known about this CAZ for months.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

people will say anything to get it delayed, there's enough signs and cameras telling you advance about the clean, I've seen one of those scrolling things from as far back as Coleshill road

I think it is more got to do with the borderline. I read that ring road is in CAZ because of the reminder letters they were receiving even though it is not highlighted on the map.

The ring road has never been in the ring road. It has always been described as inside the ring road

The unofficial reason for the delay is a problem with one of the contractors,  over a procurement contract - an official committee "call-in", according to other sources.

Three more now moved
2142 WN-PN (loan made permanent)
753 PN-WB (to allow WB minis to be painted)
4751 WB-PN

Sh4318

I wonder if PN will receive any more deckers, they've effectively lost 1 as things stand. On a couple of occasions I've seen B7RLEs on the 12/A, 13/A and 126 at capacity or near full
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Most used routes in bold
