14 years later... lol

15 years really - the fire damaged occurred around Nov 2001, it left Coventry and never returned.

@Tony it's gone full circle now for 4218...first garage Coventry and now it's back in Coventry after doing a tour of the rest of the Midlands

I'm sure 4218 got hit by a dustcart a couple of years ago by Albert street...quite a history!!

4934 gone too, on the 60 today

Going thick and fast now, wander who will get the most WB or BC?
I must admit the ex PB ones look smarter than ours with the black front and stripe, but they are the same as ours for slowness.

I guess anything's possible but IIRC WB had 18 47xx Geminis and 13 Plaxtons a few months back. That suggests they need 31 replacements - they appear to be having 6 ex WA ALX400 B7TL leaving 25. I did wonder if they'll be the ultimate recipients of the 10 CV Geminis.

And why would BC be receiving Enviros as well as additional Platinums? Unless some of the 41xx Tridents are on their way out.... interesting times.

A number of Y reg Tridents are to be withdrawn this year. Just a case of , which garage(s) will lose them.

dingding

The older Tridents do seem to becoming rarer on the Cov Road services especially at weekends. These are definitely interesting times. Best make the most of it things will get pretty bland in a few months time!!
