@Winston - I don't know. I did notice 4882 has had its name removed so there may be truth in the rumours that these are going to Coventry.

The other issue with that batch is 4884 is named after the late 'Ronnie Morgan', not really appropriate operating it from Coventry still bearing his name or to remove his name & add to another BC bus

I may be miles wide of the mark but would there be any logic in transferring in 63 plate E400s and transferring out similar 13 plate (and possibly 61 plate) versions? With 4871 and 4872 repainted into crimson at least some of the 48xx batch would presumably be staying out.

It is rumoured that 4880-4 might join NXC from BC, I assume potentially releasing the remainder of the 4691-96 to PB?. The only logic I can see in that move, is that those 5 fit in with NXC's batch existing 13 plate buses i.e. 4885-4894

Ah I see Winston. I suppose some buses would need a front end repaint either way, and it would keep the batch numbering consistent as you say.

I assume new Enviro 400 MMC 6832 at BC will gain that name instead.

Can't see it featuring much on Ron's old haunt of the Pershore Road though. Although having said that, 4884 seems to spend most of its time on the Harborne corridor.

6832 would be a better recipient and it would very fitting to name as 'Ronnie Morgan' due to his prize possession SDA832S

Be much more apt than most of the other meaningless names they put on them! Ronnie was truly one of the great British eccentrics. They dont make them like him any more!! RIP
