@Tony, will you be taking it up North yourself? Is this one limited to 42?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

There all limited to 44 aren't they. I did have 4023 a few times and I'm sure even that one was limited to 44.

I thought buses were limited to 50 with Walsall Platinums being limited at 60, what can a Plaxton achieve without the limit

I've done 55 in a Gemini on the Perry Barr flyovers/underpasses, and on Small Heath highway. Shot past a few Platinums lol.

That's going to be some journey if the President can only do 42 mph,

AA route planner says WA to Dundee is 350 miles, which at 42 mph which according to my calculator would take 8.33 hours.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

M6, M74, A9, A92. Wouldn't it be possible to remove the restricter and replace it once it's up here?

And to confirm comments on another thread,  yes 4063 is now a Walsall bus.  I  have my own bus this week,  6148, which is also currently running out of Walsall,  it will be returned to Yardley Wood Saturday afternoon when I have finished with it. Lack of updates on the main site is due to me doing 15 hour days with it. Yes, it is legal as I have an 11 hour break which means I have taken over 1000 photographs this week so expect some mass updates soon

4 hours later 6148 was at Cheltenham as it was there when we arrived.  Had gone by 6.30 though when we left the coach park.

It hadn't I was there until  1930, I  took a bus load of security guards down,  so had to arrive first and leave last
