I reckon these will be used on 141/140/241, and do they need more buses now there going to pensnett trading estate?

Not after May 2017!

Probably going to sound stupid but I'm really confused as to what is happening in may 2017, if someone could explain it would be appreciated.

From May 2017 the Birmingham City Centre SQPS changes to min Euro 4 buses are to be used on all high frequency/core Birmingham City Centre routes.

Thanks @Winston what is the earliest a euro 4 engined bus?

Ah right, but am still confused @Winston , you seem to say that Tridents could still be used on the 140/1, but Tony doesn't seem to agree. is this because the 140/1 are on the same registration on VOSA?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Euro 4 Double Deckers start at 4718 (there are approx 15 Tridents that have been re-engined with Euro 4/5 engines)
Euro 4 Single Deckers start at 1788

I expect NX will have to be buying majority new double deckers the next two years to remove all the Tridents & Volvo B7TL's

Tony will know more than me, I thought the 140/141 were both half hourly, but the 140 is 20 min frequency in the morning peaks

All these regulations, so confusing, next Sandwell Council will be introducing a requirement that all buses that travel through Bearwood must be minimum Euro 6!  ;) ;) ;)

They've only got to be removed from Birmingham City Centre core routes, not the entire NXWM fleet

For that muppet councilor I asumme only hybrids will do for bearwood high St to save the lungs of his fellow constituents. May he could ban all buses from the high St and bring back trolley buses or trams to serve between kings head and the barley corn.
