Third part of chain now happening 1847 currently on way to Walsall from Perry Barr.

4302 now parked at the front of PB with 'transfer to WA sticker on it

If I understood correctly from what was posted earlier in the week, the third PB vehicle to WA is going to be different to the other two types.

A Gemini may be the most obvious - but in terms of batch numbers/previous movements wouldn't match. I wonder if we're all going to be shocked - could the DD Scanias be moving?

Only two types moving which has already happened with 1847 & 4302

Interesting moves - so regarding Scanias; my guesswork would be that

11 7019 - 7029     AG-PB  (7024 already moved)
11 1837 - 1847   PB-WA

13 1941 - 1953   AG-WB
9   1932 - 1940   AG-YW
9   1896 - 1904   YW-WA

Just my ideas on it - would keep the numbering simple regarding the Scanias (bar ex CVs at PB) and allow replacements of B10Ls/B7RLEs at WA (plus Mercs at WB - 13 left?) Of course the 1932-40 could just go to WA, although wouldn't keep the numbering together.

Vehicles are never moved 'to keep fleetnumbers together' It costs money to move vehicle, there is always another reason for moves.

Made a booboo in my earlier post, now deleted.

AG currently have 158 vehicles. Their allocation is usually less than CV who have 152. So they are 7-8 vehicles up currently? So potential for more moves out

Are there still transfers to come today?

I make it 157 with this morning's confirmed moves. AG's allocation is normally circa 149

Trident 4194

I think 4821 May leave today also meaning three tridents have came into pe and only two e400s out so far

I would have thought it more likely that AG and possibly some WA B7RLEs end up at Pensnett and Coventry to replace Mercs - as WB are already training on ex AG Scanias, presumably their Mercs will be replaced by Scanias from AG. And around 25 B7RLEs from WA to Dundee? Just my guesses.

Tridents largely from BC to WN to replace Spectras and B6? Some via complex chains though!!

Didn't expect them three tridents, would have thought they would have tried to fit them in numerical order

Had wondered if the chain would start last night.

I to am surprised by the choice of vehicles from BC to PE, would have thought buses in the 41XX series would have been sent.

Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).
