I see from BusTimes that Rugby now have their Yutongs in service, since June 11th.

Before anyone asks, no, you won't see any sneak onto Birmingham routes.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to QE Hospital | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Including the Sundays only 85A Coventry - Rugby. today. Possibly the first use of a single deck EV on this route?

It will have to become a regular occurrence, it is a bus that goes into Coventry after all, and all buses will need to be electric before the end of this year.

Let's see how long this lasts before another delay

I haven't really heard the general take on this, or really much about it in general compared to NX's liveries, but I'm really not a fan of this new SC livery. I personally really enjoy the local livery and hope it isn't being phased out completely like the gold one is. 🤔

Are these hot takes? 😅

and this morning it looks like the SC 86 Coventry - Rugby route is also now using single deck EV's.

I agree, it's pretty dull the new livery, the local one has a lot of 'flare' to it I'd say.

Guessing this will fit in with the 85 no longer being a NXC route somehow, as parts of the route are similar Brinklow/Monks Kirby-Rugby.

Hopefully it'll be in addition to the current 74/85. Ansty's current bus services are rather poor to say the least. When the new head office for Frasers Group gets built the area may need some more services anyway.
