A bus hasn't been along that part of Windward Way since they discontinued the 99 in the early 2000s.

Wolves service 16 is unable to serve Swindon or Hinksford Caravan Park due to emergency work related to overhead electricity wires over Hìnksford Lane.
The closure is expected to last until Thursday with buses diverting via Himley bypass and Wolverhampton Road. Buses today were up to 90 minutes late with lengthy gaps between journeys.

I've been over the island today and it looks like they've already completed it - the "road closed overnight" signs have been removed.

That'll be the fastest I've ever seen them do something. I'll find out when I go to work at 2am on Monday.

My exact thought when I drove back from work yesterday, normally they go over time 😂

isnt anybody going to mention the Diversions on Dudley Road, 11A / 11C, 80, 82, 87 all affected, and its long term aswell, although i think the 11 should be re-routed away from City Hospital which is closed, & send it via MMUH although it doesnt look like the buses down there do much trade

Yeah true, the hassle of making the right turn onto Dudley road is a pain plus it's pointless stopping at city hospital since it's closed and that stop will only be used by local residents and general public walking to the nearest bus stop.

I also see that they have removed a stop before the hospital which could be something to do with the ongoing road works

So rerouting to midland met will be a better option for elderly people who want the 11 on "their doorstep" plus the others too. Will definitely increase in passenger retention on the route tho.

Presumably due to an issue on Quinton Road, but just saw 6948 diverting via Northfield Road, War Lane and Harborne Park Road on the X22 towards city.

37 on Diversion due to a serious crash in Darlaston Green going down Midland Road, Bilston Lane and onto Wolverhampton Road West so is missing the Green and County Bridge/Wrexham Ave area

4/4A on diversion due to Warwick road closed. Diverting via Shirley road

9, X8, X10 on diversion towards city from
Quinton church via Ridgacre Road and Wolverhampton Road South due to a RTA on Hagley Road West. Seen this diversion a few times recently, that area seems an accident black-spot.
