Just looking on Oxford bus centres web site BV17GSY has covered 1,431,883 km, that's an average of 490 km for every day, wow that's some going.

Many of them have had engine and/or gearbox replacements that don't match the odometer readings - I spoke with the owner of GSZ a few days ago and he's extremely pleased with it as the interior/exterior and running gear are still in very good condition, and a better prospect of some used coaches of similar age.

Many Levantes cover similar mileages. The routes Edwards cover are virtually 24 hour services and the coaches are almost permanently on the road. It's similar with ones at Start Hill. Edwards Bristol depot probably couldn't fit every allocated vehicle in. Start Hill certainly can't fit every vehicle in if they were all there together

Because of the high mileage they are normally cheaper than same age equivalent coaches, but the biggest selling point for operators wanting to do schools or rail replacement is the wheelchair lift making them fully PSVaR

@Tony is there any specific reason as to why some of the NX coach services that head north don't track on bus times such as the 131 & 133 which are operated by Go North East. Whereas, on other routes the coaches will track?

All NX coaches tracked on Bustimes up until 5th April, when something was changed.

While I am not Tony, I can advise.

Basically by law, National Express Coaches do not have to provide AVL tracking data to 3rd parties unless they are registered with the traffic commissioner to carry local passengers. When National Express started to provide tracking via Bus Open Data, they sent data for all routes, including Dublin Express.

On 5th April, National Express decided to remove AVL/tracking data for services which they legally do not have to provide data for. As such, since 5th April, only a few services now track, which are all services which are registered with the Traffic Commissioner, or services which were registered with the traffic commissioner and NX has forgotten to remove the tracking.

In short, the current situation is - Coach doesn't track = NX legally does not have to provide the data to the public, and so has chosen not to.

If you are quoting NX directly (with the use of single speech marks) then I don't see what the issue is, unless you expand. 

The use of the word "typically", which is defined by Oxford Languages as an adverb meaning, "in most cases; usually;", infers that they aim to maintain the the 10 mins before departure rule, though circumstances beyond their control may prevent this. I would wager that the 10 mins rule is achieved more often than not.
