Certainly unexpected

I've just seen the picture - they are at D&G at the moment but in Centrebus livery, and apparently destined for Leicester. 5011 and 5012 are for D&G

5009 & 5010 are both in service at High Peak. More than likely to do with additional vehicle requirements at the depot, with the short notice commencements of routes 271 / 272, following the demise of Hulley's of Baslow.

High Peak not tracking on the 271/2, is that because it an emergency take over and they've not had a chance to upload data.

no doubt they'll be added soon same with all the Leicestershire changes in Melton they weren't showing but now are.

According to one of the controllers, the Leicester ones will run on the new Market Harborough / Melton routes, also suitable for Loughborough work and can also be used on the 162 service. So likely to be seen around various locations.

Not sure how I feel about the forthcoming change to the Orbital 40 service. It's been confirmed on Centrebus website, that's it to be split into 2 (with a north section and a south section). With the north section running the stretch between general hospital and Glenfield hospital. And the south section running from Hamilton Tesco to Beaumont leys (meaning a duplication between Glenfield hospital and Beaumont leys, and between Hamilton & general hospital - although only the 40S will serve the netherhall estate).

its going to be confusing for passengers as it has always been a full circle.

Mayfield

Even more confusing as both clockwise and anti-clockwise are both number 40

I saw 2009 on the Melton FoxConnect on Friday, that has the new Centrebus logo 'strip' like 578.
