The registration says "Homes England".

Downstairs on some of the electric deckers I see that A4 size printed notices have been stuck to the window in large text saying

X30 service to continue
following renewal of our contract .........

Quote from: Sandy Lane on January 05, 2024, 07:53:10 AMAgree services should be self funded to at least break even. I think you may mis-understand what I mean about on-site marketing the X30. This is not about selling tickets at cut price. This is about TfWM spending a full day at each business at Ansty Park with a 'pop up' marketing stand talking to the employees and explaining about how good the X30 link is. Also TfWM should listen to employee concerns and take away any issues that are raised.

I doubt that relying on each business organisation's HR team to do this on behalf of TfWM will achieve very much. TfWM should be out there on the front line selling the product. The stand is best placed in popular and well used staff break out / canteen areas.
I can partially agree with where you're coming from. But this isn't a bus service that is funded by TfWM, it is paid for by the owners of Ansty Park, therefore the onus should be on them to work with their business unit occupiers to promote and encourage bus travel on the X30 amongst their employees.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

X30 service is struggling to keep to time this am in the peak. Both buses seen in convoy at 0905 heading out to Ansty Park. I feel sorry for the drivers as it must be impossible for them in the heavy traffic.

Is there only one vehicle on the X30 this morning? I have only seen 844?

Bustimes is indicating an extension of the X30 service within the Ansty Park site from 4th November.
Presumably continuing as far as the Meggitt business where unserved bus shelters have been in situ for at least 3 years.
This is being achieved under existing resource by way of changing the service to limited stopping which at least means the 'X' now makes sense.

Makes sense if it helps the X30 to run to time. There is mention of route revision as well. Ball Hill is a choke point in the peaks so await more news on routing.

New X30 timetable is now on traveline which indicates the service will...

- No longer stop on Clifford Bridge Rd
- Only serve one stop on Ansty Rd at Wyken Pippin
- Continue to serve all current stops between Walsgrave Road (Burns Rd) and Coventry Rail Station

I suppose this means any desired route can be taken between Wyken Pippin and Ansty Park.

The timetable link says 'Baginton, Ansty Park'. Me thinks the decision makers do not know Coventry at all!

I think the start date may be centred around major road works that are due to start on Clifford Bridge Road but I hear the works have been put back by a few weeks at least?

History in the making also as this now completely ends any direct bus service to the rail station from the Clifford Bridge Road area since TDC 585 from Rugby ceased running and the replacement NXC 85 only goes to the Meadow. Unless of course there is a replacement service being planned by those people at TfWM over in Birmingham? Mmmmm.

Ref the X30 abandoning Clifford Bridge Road (previous thread suggested early November). These road works now planned to start 13 January 2025.

Are those Clifford Bridge works the start of them doing the a46 bypassing the roundabout works?

Down Stoneleigh way they put a bridge over the a46 to turn that exit into a roundabout then... have done nothing with it. The bridge is just sat there, unconnected, whilst people needing to turn off there have to mess about with diverting if they want to turn right at all.

I think the January work on Clifford Bridge is for a new cycle lane and you are right there is something big also planned for the nearby A46 but not sure when.
