Quote from: Sandy Lane on October 16, 2024, 07:11:27 PMI think the January work on Clifford Bridge is for a new cycle lane and you are right there is something big also planned for the nearby A46 but not sure when.
According to Causeway one.network, work on the A46 in this area is due to start in August 2025 and finish in March 2027.
It involves carriageway resurfacing, reconstruction and changes to junctions.

Quote from: JPC on September 23, 2024, 05:20:54 PMBustimes is indicating an extension of the X30 service within the Ansty Park site from 4th November.
Presumably continuing as far as the Meggitt business where unserved bus shelters have been in situ for at least 3 years.
This is being achieved under existing resource by way of changing the service to limited stopping which at least means the 'X' now makes sense.
If you look at the NXC timetable after the change date for 08 November there is no change to the route or timings shown so possibly the date has slipped or NXC has not updated their system or it may not be happening now? How accurate is Bustimes me wonders.

NXC announced today 22 October.
X30 Coventry - Ansty Park - The route will be extended within Antsy Park and will become a limited stop service. Some existing bus stops will no longer be served. Due to this, there will be some timetable changes.

Had a ride on the X30 yesterday from a stop that is on the soon to be abandoned part of the route - next Monday.
No information in the shelter at all about re-routing of the X30 and none of the other passengers knew about it.
Last TT changes dated September 2024.

If I remember I will pop over there next week to see if the info is updated on the TT and also see if the flag has the X30 service removed. Might be worth placing a bet on this with the bookies!

It's TfWM - check back in three months to see if the information has been updated.

Yep. My local 64 route still claims the service is operated by Travel Express even though Diamond have had it since the end of June!

Some bus stops on the outskirts of Northfield still list Kev's 42, despite being replaced with the 55 (the stops in question aren't served by the 55) almost 2 years ago

Still stops in Great Barr that have the 424 on that went nearly 2 years ago as well.

Typical TfWM. And our 'great' mayor Rich thinks they could be put in charge of franchising the buses!!! Chaos and incompetence incoming!!!!
