Looks like it has been SORNed so it probably has been withdrawn - Centrebus usually don't bother SORNing if it is just a long-term VOR. It is still listed on bustimes, so I wonder how long it will take until someone removes it haha

Parked in the naughty boys alley are 769 with O/S/F and front lower panels removed, 902, 621 and 913
578 has disappeared from the alley and maybe in the workshop but can be sure it's this one when viewing from the road

At around lunchtime on 04/09/2024, E200MMCs YX68 ULT and YX68 ULU were both noted in the yard at Wenlock Way. Both were still wearing the livery of Falcon Buses but with fleet names and such like scraped off.

Yes, I noted a rather stripped 769 too. Offside front lower and front lower panels all gone, along with various interior panels removed too. 578 was definitely clocked inside the workshop.

Hopefully these are for Leicester! I think that they will be short a few buses once the uni shuttle returns. In May it seemed fairly tight, and since then they have lost 902 and 769 (apparently), as well as 746 which transferred to Grantham.

Centrebus have seemingly been investing a fair bit of money in modernising their fleet which is great to see, with numerous post-2017 E200/MMCs being purchased, as well as some brand new E200MMCs and Evoras!

They were a bit late in joining the MMC bandwagon. Previously they just had two second-hand ones that didn't hang around for long before they got transferred to Chaserider.

I see a 74 plate Mercedes Ilesbus has appeared on Bustimes numbered 2005, there is also a picture of it at Grantham and it has been in service today
Wonder if there is going to be 2001-2004 or are they renumbering 201-204

913 has since been in service.. I caught it last Friday in Barrow on 22A (literally almost knocked my head on the mirror being so close to the door!).

They do, and I believe Grantham have been painting internally in their workshop lately as well

These look quite short? I assume they are shorter than regular?
Perhaps would be good for the 162 route? Was thinking an E100EV would be good for that route when they go electric.
