Are all the enviro 400's 4718 - 4776 euro4/5 still or most these been converted to euro6 ?

They're all euro 6 I believe as they operate in Birmingham. Unless there's an odd stray one.

It was obvious before even being said that it was write off

No it wasn't. Alexander Dennis didn't want to put the chassis through for a rebody was the main reason. If they had a new body would have cost less than the book value so it would not have been withdrawn.

Have there been any cases of modern buses being rebodied due to fire or accident? I can't think of any but then again I don't keep tracks of all operators any more. I think 4014 came quite close at one time, but wasn't the plan someone like Northern Counties or East Lancs rather than Optare?

Stevo

1965 Birmingham Fleetline 3531 was fire-damaged and after some years was rebodied by Metro-Cammell as 5531. Perhaps not really modern, though.

I was thinking much later than that. I know of rebodied Birmingham, Coventry and WMPTE vehicles. But nothing I can think of after the 70s. Possibly the rebodied Grey Green B10M coaches rebodied as double deck buses, but that's about the last I can think of.

Slightly straying from the subject a little, two London Titans, barely two years old, were written off after an arson incident in 1981.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

Stagecoach Manchester Enviro 400 19425 MX58 FUH was rebodied after an arson attack
