Always people panicking on the 94/95 when it does the Saltley loop on the way out to Ward End/Chelmsley. They say it should have gone left at the lights and the driver is going back to town, going the wrong way, driver doesn't know what he is doing etc. Saw it again tonight.

Was talking to a driver on the 95 this morning who said that Saltley Viaduct is closed for another month. Given the usual increase in traffic volume from September onwards, that long-winded diversion is certainly 1 to avoid.

14 already stops at those stops to/from the City Centre as far as I know and has no other alternative route. Could work maybe if they put on a 94S service to say Fox & Goose where it could turn round on Bromford Lane to go back, for a few weeks. Then those stops between Aston Church Road to Saltley Gate would still have a bus both ways to City and Fox & Goose. Then the main 94/95 services can run direct and if people want to go to other places on the route can always connect onto them.

Changes to 94/95 diversion for 3 weeks, due to delays and likely expected increase in congestion with schools reopening, etc. Buses will run direct Washwood Heath Road, Aston Church Road, Heartlands Parkway.
Between Saltley Gate and Aston Church Road the 14 will continue to still link to Birmingham City Centre. In effect from Thursday 25th August.

Coventry Road driver strangely said there's no options for pre 9.30 concession on his ticket machine this morning. Printed a child daysaver instead.

4941 did a loop of Heartlands Parkway up to the first island and back on the 15:30 94 ex City. Driver went up Heartlands Parkway out of habbit I think.

MasterPlan

Both 6863 and 7516 taken back to garage now because of no driver. Is this because of the increase in PVRs and not enough drivers to cover?
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.

I'm not certain but I'd hazard a guess that all the X1/X2 branded buses will have their branding removed
