QuoteI don't know what you mean by where would it pick up passengers but it would go back on itself and go the same way through Quinton etc. Either terminate before the island or go around it and do it after. I think a new stop would have to be created though.

Alright, fair enough
23 - Bartley Green
76 - Northfield
X20 - Birmingham Via Longbridge, Northfield & QE Hospital / University

Also currently the 23 takes 4 more minutes than the 24 to complete a journey currently so would that make a difference? Or maybe only every other 24 would extend there as a 24A?

I do think this is a good idea.

The 24 does serve Tesco but the Asda at Barnes Hill is a much larger supermarket.  We do have the hourly 39 but isn't frequent enough to make a trip to Asda by bus attractive.

I have seen some drivers run dead to the bottom of West Boulevard and wait there to make up time occasionally to avoid parking up on Quinton Road West.

Yeah, I've seen 23/24 branded buses sat there at times, by the 39 stop I think.

I never realised how close to the current terminus it is though, and exactly it would be a much better option than the 39. I'm sure it would benefit people in Quinton.

I was looking at the where to catch your bus poster thing at Chelmsley earlier and it says if you are going to Water Orton to catch the X12, if you are going to Hams Hall to get the X70, if you are going to Park Hall then its the X13.
Why can't TFWM make sure these things are accurate before putting them up.

This has nothing to do with Birmingham Central garage.

Inaccuracies and errors like this should be reported to TfWM so they can be corrected:

The X13 is a BC route.
And they should make sure they're put up the correct information to potential passengers on bus stops, before they put them up in the first place. Telling people to get the X12 to Water Orton or a ceased X70 to Hams Hall is just stupid to be honest.
Plus its not just this one I think I saw X20 on one of the ones at University Station a few weeks ago.

This is down to Transport for West Midlands NOT National Express West Midlands or any of it's garages

Looks like some idiots with sharpies have gone to town on 6886. I suppose it makes a change to the etched windows.

BC Ward End 94/95 routes are very platinum today.  X2 branded 6833 on there as well.
Maybe BC will get the ex Warwick University ones from Coventry for them, when they leave Coventry.
