Been like that for awhile, Recall seeing that back when it was branded for the Bristol Road Services.

Quote from: Wibble on January 05, 2025, 09:02:30 PMAs there is both the Zenobe fleet with 'Z' prefixes & the NX fleet with 'E' prefixes that are allocated to the Zenobe spares pool, is there actually any difference between the future use of each set of vehicles?

Cheers ... Richard
I believe they are all the same, zenobe will switch them out with ones in the NX fleet as when they need too as per the contract between the two companies, Alongs as Zenobe provides the correct amount of buses, it doesn't matter which ones get used I think?

I noticed a 72 plate E200MMC has joined Kev's, Always seems to avoid me when I travel with Kev's but always goes passed me when I'm on other operators buses

Presumably its a long term addition but hasn't been branded up yet or do I need to hurry up and catch it

Quote from: JosephR on November 08, 2024, 06:21:11 PMshould have just kept Sutton line branding, at least till it could be polished out/ ad wrapped / repainted. Wouldn't be so scruffy looking if that branding weren't just bodged on.
But having Sutton lines branding running around in Wolverhampton isn't much use to anyone there. It does look a mess in my opinion but it's better than having branding for a route which the bus will never operate on again.

Then again, I think most people would just be grateful if it shows up and takes them to where they want to be!

Quote from: Jay71 on November 06, 2024, 03:56:48 PMI'm not going to provide any idea evidence. You can do that.
Just look at the number of trains that are being cancelled on a daily basis by this company.  What's being done to improve things?  The answer is zilch.
Here a useful website which shows how each rail company is preforming every day https://trains.im/ppm/WM

As it shows today, That 4% (around 33 out of 840) are in red of WMT services were either delayed by 30+ mins or cancelled today. Sadly the stats don't show how many of the 33 were cancelled but gives a good indication of how things have performed so far.

Hopefully the omnilinks will be first out of the door, Quite frequent I see them decker boards (ie 49 & 76)

I believe it was the same driver, Was quite friendly and welcoming to everyone who boarded at QE so didn't justify the abuse the youths gave him in Northfield!

Quote from: Jay71 on October 13, 2024, 10:39:42 AMWas on the 48 this morning. It was nice to see a driver stand up to a lout. Well done to the driver for refusing to move.
Shame on the passengers who moaned to the driver for leaving 20 mins late
I wonder if its the same driver I had on the 20 last monday, a group of youths got on in Northfield and was rude and  swore at him as the boarded and ran up the stairs, refused to move till they apologized.

Quite noteworthy (for me anyway) having 6806 on the 20 yesterday morning, strange to see them in the complete opposite side of the city they are branded for!

(And yes I know it's permanent transfer before someone tries to point it out!)

4518 - Only one door at the two on the front bothered to open, I'm sure the driver would of called it in but thought I'll post. Hopefully not long till these heaps (cue people coming at me for saying that  ) are gone!

Good Afternoon, I was on the 183 service between Bromsgrove - Redditch this afternoon, For some reason the bus didn't serve Barnt Green stops at all and went straight through to Alvechurch. This seem to be a running theme of the two Barnt Green stop being missed out.

I'm just wondering is Barnt Green section still part of the route? Thanks

(I have attached the bustimes tracking below of todays journey)

The earlier you book the more choice you get. Routes are finalised an hour before the stated departure time, it seems.
Thank you, I will try and aim and book hour in advance from now on (where possible), Today was just a trip out to see how it all works for future trips which I have ideas for which will involve it further.

Had a go on Bromsgrove on demand service today, I am quite impressed with the system. However a few questions, I attempted to book twice (before finally finding a suitable journey) to travel from Bromsgrove bus station towards Rubery area, The first booking I attempted to make said I would needed to wait for 30 minutes to head towards Cofton park (I'd then would of walked), I cancelled that booking and tried to book towards Rubery which it then said it wasn't available journey for some reason, I gave it a few minutes and then a bus came within 5 minutes (Which was the one I boarded) to take me to Rubery.

I'm just wondering, How does this system work? Does it work out the journey etc before allocating a bus? And would it be better in future to book in advance so the system can work out a route and allocate a vehicle for me in advance and how roughly in advance would it be recommend for me to book?

Apart from that, the system is easy to use and the brand new 24 plate buses which I used were nice with USB chargers and comfortable seats and added bonus that the first journey is free!
