Routing for route 2/3 taken from temporary diversions section of NXC website. Like you JPC i've seen 2/3s stopping in Fairfax St, presumably to prevent congestion outside Sainsburys as road has been narrowed while surfacing work has taken place on the offside. The taxi rank sign in Fairfax Street as been modified to 9 taxis.

Not sure whether this is a 9 Finham working cut short?

I don't know if this is anything to do with it but I saw a double decker 9E heading along Corperation street towards Pool meadow at about 15:30 today, I don't know if this is normal or not. Something struck me odd with it.

The double deck was a Trident btw, but I didn't catch the number.

Yes it's a duplicate school journey from Bishop Ullathorne school to the City.
It's a bus from the 23 which forms the 14:55 to Allesley Park and 15:20 return on school holidays.

My mate text me earlier to tell me the good news of 2157 being towed back to Wheatley Street this afternoon :D

4891 has re-entered service with plain white panels on rear of bus lacking branding for 8/A it had before. Sides and front still route branded.

4891 re-entered service over a week ago. I also noticed the branding has been lost from the rear. I think 4891 was crashed into hence being otr for a while and having new back panels. 2157 is not even back in service is it?

Well the 10, 11 and 12 also sees e400s on a regular basis. The 18 18A is merc and trident operated usually.  The 20 also sees a few mercs at least every week, the 21 usually has 1 or 2 citaros on on mon-sat the 23 is usually tridents on mon-fri and on sundays the 2/3 is 20 branded b7's the 4 is unbranded b7s the 5 is 9 branded b7's the 6 6A is geminis and enviros the 7 is 9 branded b7's the 10 is geminis and e400s the 11 and 12 is fully e400 operated, the 13 I am unsure about, the 16 I think is tridents/geminis or b7's the 18 is geminis and the 23 is also 20 branded b7's

Also, why is it that I can't seem to find a 42 timetable anywhere?

4400, 1570, 6017 and 4451 have all had their mega rear adverts removed this weekend. 6017 noticebly has no 4 branding on the back because of this unlike the rest of 6012-6018

Sounds like it's running dead off (or possibly onto) a 7.

JoNi

Re 7 running dead could be catching up time, buses having been running late this morning due to bad traffic. Vinh1000 - when did you see it?

A notice on RTI in Pool Meadow stated emergency roadworks at Cromwell Avenue/Charter Avenue has resulted in the 6/A being routed via 6 outbound and 6A when returning to the city. The 18 was terminated short at the old Canley terminus. NXC website states 6/A now running normally.

Roadworks associated with removal of the right turning filter lanes on the "highway" at Kenilworth Road has caused congestion which has affected the 9A and also 11/12 due to tailbacks.
