NXC posters have appeared at Tile Hill South saying the 18/A is terminating at the old Canley terminus "Until further notice".

How long did this last?

5/7/900 (revised timetable)

When are they valid from? And where can I find them?
NX appears to still have timetables valid from october 2013 on their websites.

From today, 26 January - service 5 is modified slightly, adjusted timing points in Earlsdon, as far as I'm aware.
I suppose average Joe passenger wouldn't notice a difference anyway.

ben710 - another enthusiast told me they were in pool meadow travel centre 5 minutes before it closed yesterday! They also have photocopies of the new 360 timetable.

Right I shall go and have a look on my way through town tomorrow. :)

Thanks

The "greenhouse" that occasionally served as an information point outside the travel centre in Pool Meadow was removed today, revealing the old Centro sign in the brickwork on the floor.

The unbranded b7's have finally got something in the space where 'another new bus for you' used to be stuck on! Since yesterday they now advertise the daysaver price in a blue sticker!
Favourite buses currently:
871, 1828, 4421, 4764, 6101, 6108, 6116, 6118, 6121, 6848, 6849

Some old Mercs have had their side and rear adverts ripped off, leaving areas of bare metal in some cases or black marks.

On the subject of Mercs, the interiors are getting bad. Mismatched seats (ok there are exceptions like 1601, which also has my favourite moquette) scratched paintwork. Leaking interiors.  (Friday evening on the 7 was horrendous in the rain -I forget the fleet number). Loose panels. Not a good image for NX really anymore.

EDIT. 1601 isn't Cov. I probably meant 1610.

The mention of 0.405N  1678 by Rob he photographed gives me the chance to ask, just when did that bus come to Coventry and where did itcome from. Since the delivery of the new buses in Coventry I also seen 1634,1635,1636 1655 that I am sure were not in the Coventry fleet before. Can anyone provide any details, and tell me just what 0.405Ns we do have at Wheatley St. now.

Those mentioned have came from other garages either last year or late 2012

1634-6 came from Bordesley
1655 came from West Brom
1678 came from Wolverhampton

Another one was 1558 from Pensnett, now withdrawn

The number of O405Ns were reduced when the B7RLEs were put into service, I think there is around 20 left in service

I suspect you mean 1557, which moved from Pensnett to Coventry in March 2012 and is now withdrawn. 1558 did the same move in 2008 but is still in service.

re where did 1578 come from....thanks all, I see the 0405 list and histories I can check on in future. I did see 1548...Coventry's oldest 0405N on service Canley 19 service today...looked good to me.
