Just saw 1408 on the Expressway, towards Birmingham, it is driven by an engineer (a guy with orange hi-vis jacket). While passing it on X51, 1408 did not have it's destination blinds.

Since when did the X51 use the expressway? Assuming you mean the flyovers from Perry Barr  :)

Unless he means where the A34 approach into Birmingham meets the A38 island?

Well... To me, a flyover is like a bridge goes over a road, the route is quite long and it goes over and under so it is the Expressway?

I think that Luke thought you meant the Aston Expressway hence the confusion :)

Anyone know what happened in Sparkbrook earlier?

Was passing by (got a lift home), and there was a Trident parked half on the pavement outside the petrol station. Still showing 6 on the rear display, but hazard lights were on. Thought it was a breakdown at first, but as we drove past, there was an ambulance parked in front, and a police car was just pulling up alongside on the forecourt. There were no passengers on board.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

In Solihull, Poplar Rd, Someone had a fall on the bus. There was an ambulance+Paramedic car as well as about 3 Police cars/vans (one car arrived - with sirens - as the other cars didn't have a breathalyzer) . I thought it was more serious than it was. So you never know, could have been a fall on the bus, or near it?

It wouldn't surprise me if a pedestrian walked out into the road and got hit, it is Sparkbrook after all, people are always doing it on the Stratford Road, just walking out into the traffic! As I said, I don't know what happened as I didn't see anything myself, just wondering if anyone else knew anything that's all.
