How do you find this information?
They used to do Cheslyn Hay High routes to Bloxwich and Featherstone but don't anymore. 868 was one can't remember the other.

A WA driver told me. He doesn't know exact route but I'm sure it will soon be registered.

The 868 was Cheslyn hay to Bloxwich withdrawn January 2020.

854 Cheslyn Hay - Featherstone I think WN AM peak pm peak Walsall went onto 10/10A after. A bus on the 10 would go to Bradford place for a peak time 4 journey.

The St Francis SFA1 services are interesting as far as Wilconette Tamworth.

The X529 is very interesting but would of thought it could come off Keyway earlier just to serve Wilenhall. But on the other hand there's plenty of other buses to Wolverhampton and Wilenhall. I hope the route is Successful.  A better number would of been X9.

If a 529 branded is used on there it will cause considerable confusion.

If people don't look at the website, & notice the information put on there, that will cause confusion as well, as most people will expect it to serve Willenhall as well.

Incidently I see (& I'm sure @l.murphy123 will back me up on this too!) 51 branded on X51, so potential confusion is nothing new!

The 868 bus came from an X51 which used to terminate in Landywood. After it ended that journey terminated at Bloxwich, but now runs to Cannock again. They still have two Select Bus routes.

If it came off keyway to serve Willenhall there would be no point diverting in the first place. They will still have a 529 up to every 6 minutes. Maybe they will rebrand the buses like they did with the 8 and X8. Like Westy said the 51/X51 mix up is more confusing.

Stu

I believe the idea of the X529 is to improve journey times for passengers travelling directly between Walsall and Wolverhampton.

Diverting it to serve Willenhall sort of defeats the purpose. The regular 529 will still operate, and as has been stated already there are numerous other services that do serve Willenhall as well, albeit less directly.

2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Now that most of the Travel Shops are now open(apart from Walsall!), are new timetable leaflets actually being produced?

Yes! Leaflets have been produced throughout the pandemic.

Two things.

What is the current status with Walsall Travelshop? Are they planning to reopen in the same premises, because if they do, they need to move that job club thing that was blocking the other set of doors!

Secondly, as regards the X529 using the Black Country Route, if there is a problem at J10 itself, surely they ought to register a varitation of coming off / on at Anson Junction, then using Bentley Road North, Queen Elizabeth Avenue, Churchill Road & Bloxwich Lane as well?

Withdrawing the 80 doesn't make sense especially as there's other diversion on the route that aren't helping the reliability of it. I can see a few people in Smethwick complaining about losing a direct service from Devonshire Road to Capehill.

I don't understand that one at all. Where is the need for 6 buses an hour for Windmill Lane estate? You think it would be easier to rename the service '80'
