I am now in mourning in the lost of 4194, she was a beast! Does this mean @Trident 4194 will have to change his username??

Has the rest of the tridents due from BC arrived?

PN have now lost their best bus. It has now also become a very boring garage with the most interesting buses becoming B7RLE or streetdecks

It's got a bigger variety of vehicle types than a lot of garages. I get the whole bus enthusiast thing, and some older buses having a certain 'character', but give me a nice new Platinum over a Y reg Trident any day.

PN's boring bus are the E200's, bouncy and rattling and uncomfortable. Don't you like the 44** Tridents? They are great buses.

The 44 PN tridents don't seem to have the same oomph that the y regs had. I liked the loud engines and the sound of the bus moving from stationary

Voith and ZF. The 41** are Voith and 44** are ZF. The 41** Tridents are the best Voith Tridents in the fleet. The 51/02/52 Plate Tridents are Voith and it's a mixed bag, some are good and some are bad. The 45** Tridents that have Voith are excellent (4565-4584), 4579 is a great bus, loved riding it on the 126.

the y reg tridents also have nice sounding gearbox that the later ones don't have but I'd take a 44 over a 41 any day

Just seen 3301 being heading south through Kidderminster on the A449 behind an RS recovery lorry.  ???

Now im no genius but withdrawing 419* series might have been a bit too soon, looking at the PN loan vehicles

They were withdrawn either with major defects or mot expiry, so wouldn't be on the road anyway and would be taking up valuable engineering time delaying other repairs

Any idea how long PN loan vehicles will be needed for then?
