Quote from: Westy on Today at 02:32:07 PMMoving them to Walsall maybe?

They've had Geminis in the past, plus one has been on loan this week.
Not moving any non-euro 6 gemini anywhere, they need to come out of service as quick as possible

Quote from: Mike K on May 22, 2024, 06:03:41 PMSerious looking incident ongoing on Northfield Road, Harborne, at the moment with a 23/24 branded bus on the 23 (6876 I think) either involved or caught up in what's happened.

The road has been blocked off by police and the bus has been there for over an hour with its hazard lights on. Numerous police vehicles in attendance and posts on Facebook suggest there are armed police at the scene.

EDIT - the posts about armed police are total bullshit apparently. I've been told it was a collision between the bus and a car.

Buses behind were diverting via Tennal Road and West Boulevard to California.

Bus not involved and has finally escaped!

For clarification, I had mentioned the new electric buses entering service from 29th May. The chargers are planned to be switched on Wednesday 29th May and 14 will hopefully then be available to use on Thursday 30th

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on May 22, 2024, 09:21:14 AMUnless they have a 390/1 and a 390/0 coupled up together. That's longer than the Cali Sleeper the longest train I believe that serves Euston and only stops at Crewe and Preston in England. 20 cars wouldn't fit at any platform anywhere In the UK. I think even Eurostars that stop in England aren't as long. The ones that don't aren't 20 cars though might be wr9nh
Same as bustimes see things in reality, not of a tracking system. All that will have happened is a unit swap due to a defect and the original unit not removed from the system so both show.

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on May 21, 2024, 02:32:00 PMWhat would you show you from an open top that couldn't be done from an old disused Euro 6 Double Decker
Well the Glasgow open toppers attract a good crowd and bring enough in to support 9 brand new electric open toppers, and Glasgow has never been known as the biggest tourist attraction city in Scotland.

Here's a photo I took last week of one almost full
