It wouldn't be a problem if they ran once an hour like the 97 does. The 97 has a high pvr but it only takes a couple of buses to work nights.

Omnicity on the 952 earlier (think it was 4778/9). Been a while since I've seen that. Also I don't know if it was already mentioned but a few days ago now there were two Omnicities on the 94; one of them was 4781 which looked very nice I must say (nearly ditched work to get a ride on it), and the other was an unrefurbed one, not sure of the fleetnumber. The unrefurbed one was on an all day board.

957 branded 4913 (I think) on this mornings 14E to Tile Cross. Seen at Saltley Gate just before 9am.

First time I've seen an E400 on the 14.

That's probably one of the rarest workings I've heard for a while

14e Marston Green

I think I might have seen the same 14E as you at around the same sort of time, but the one I saw displayed Marston Green but then the driver changed it to Meadway.

I saw 4253 go past me in Birmingham earlier... tatty as hell. Every upstairs window had massive etching on it, the sides had been scraped and loads of the paint took off. Definitely needs a refurb soon.

Currently sat at the back of 1915 on the 2.

1916 is on the 3 aswell today :)

Not to moan but can people start putting the garage as well, because I have to keep going into the photo section and finding out which garage the fleetnumbers are allocated to to figure out which route people are talking about.

Found this pic of 5509 working the morning 14E back in Jan, looks so strange!

- North Solihull Regeneration Route (A452 Chester Road ) - 966 or 71 but the former would be more likely.

While they seem to be the obvious routes in question when talking about a "North Solihull Regenereation Route", I really can't imagine the 966 or 71 being "Gold corridor" standard unless they seriously upped the frequencies and rerouted them onto the main roads instead of round the Wrekin
Agreed. I can't really see any other possible bus routes in that area, I'm not sure but I don't think any bus uses Chester road.

My thoughts were it being around a route like the old 994/962 that served North solihull and chester road as a fast link into town  from Chelmsley wood & castle vale etc. I could be wrong. Or the other thought would the 28 corridor being treated that way with the expansion of Jag factories and important links it provides.

The most likely candidate would be the 94, seeing as it's already very frequent and well used. And there's been rumours of an upgrade for ages. Maybe they'd tie in the 71 and 72 with it too, seeing as between the 70/71/72 they pretty much cover all of East Birmingham and North Solihull.

PE trident on 120 or 140? It had Dudley on  the display... Also, I inally saw 4177 in the Morrisons Livery. I looks alright. I think as long as the 'Welcome Aboard' adhesives are still on the door, 4177 will stay classy!  ;)  ;D

Where'd you see this Trident?

4177 was on the 14 today. Saw it in Kitts Green at about 2:30. Looks really good in the Morrisons livery actually, and I don't normally like all over adverts.

I saw 2 70E's to Chelmsley Wood yesterday evening. Have the evening E journeys been extended to Chelmsley Wood now or were these just running late? I thought they terminated at Coleshill in the evening.

It's always 2141 that appears on the 14. That's the third time now.

Was something happening with the 907 today? I saw at least 3 907E's to Perry Barr and I saw one 907E to New Oscott

Did the 55A replace the 54 Brimingham-Kingshurst. Just wondering

The 54 was withdrawn before the 55A was created. Originally the 59 replaced the section of the 54 route around Yorks Wood estate, but then I guess they realised that people round there needed a more direct and more frequent route to Birmingham, and obviously needed a link to Chelmsley Wood so created the 55A. But it terminates at Chelmsley Wood, not Kingshurst.
