936E to Short Street, were is this ?

Brownhills by the looks of it, the road that the 936 used to turn around in Brownhills to point the other way on the High Street to start the return journey to Birmingham. Google maps is very useful

There is a Short Street, in Walsall Town Centre as well, but it can not be this one

There's a Short Street in Brownhills, but I think that's pretty much where the 936 terminates anyway?

That can't be that far from the terminus can it?

I think Short Street is where the 936 parks up and lays over in Brownhills before starting back off to Birmingham.

A very strange 'E' working, I don't know if this means that it will not do a return journey to Birmingham, instead leaving 'Not In Service'. That is the only reason I can think off

I thought where it finished was Church Road before heading back into Birmingham just behind the high street, and looking at the route info on the bottom of the timetable 'Short Street' isn't on there

Short Street is at the end of Church Street, after turning left off Brownhills High Street, onto Church Street, the 936 will then turn right at the crossroads onto Short Street (it runs parallel with the High Street)

No passengers would be on the bus on Short Street (the last stop is on the high street), that is why it won't be on the timetable

No they're not timetabled. I do see them occasionally, must be due to late running

It might have unloaded at the 11A stop on Rutland Road, turned right onto Bearwood High Street, then right at the lights back onto Sandon Road to head back into Birmingham

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
