Unless the drivers accidently put up the wrong destination from when the 46 ran through to Aston Via Perry Barr

2E to Showell Circus, Bushbury leaving Wolverhampton at about 16:15 today.

Saw that one the other week. First time i saw a 2E to Showell Circus was when buses were turned short during the heavy snow

i once saw a 529 (Branded Trident) in Wolverhampton working a 529E to Willenhall. (Thought it was timetabled but looking at the timetable i can't see any

46E to Aston via Lozells (odd destination!) or even new one hmm

33E to Perry Barr Bus Garage

Happens every weekday from both Birmingham & Pheasey   :). Weekends I think its just Pheasey  :)

and were would the 46E have turned around ?

98E - QE Hosp
It said

Aston
via Lozells
46 or 46E

makes no sense
The 98E is a timetabled short working leaving Birmingham at 3.42pm

Maybe the 46E terminated at Trinity Road/Heathfield Road, under the overpass, and turned right onto Birchfield Road to quickly head back into Birmingham (Late running)

Didnt realised it was still programmed
Usually it says Six Ways Aston via Perry Barr
then via Astonand Lozells on a separate page with no route number

Yeah thats what I thought, but just "46E Aston via Lozells"? Definately never seen that.
Can't imagine it terminating on the Birchfield Rd cause that isn't really Aston is it? Also can't imagine it being Six Ways because then it isn't really "via" Lozells.... intriguing...
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Plenty of untimetabled short workings heading up Broad Street in convoy from City at around 8.50 this morning, presumably because of the ridiculous traffic conditions again. These included a WN Trident on the 126E to Dudley via Roseville (not actually correct), 5409 on a 22E to California, Barnes Hill, and 4179 on a 24E to Four Dwellings.

Close behind these three was either WN 4536 or 4538, Not in Service.

Would have been 4538 as 4536 wasn't on the 126 and i saw 4538 on there at lunch time

Which route was 4536 on?

Also, the other giveaway would be that 4538 has the older shades of red/white, and 4536 the newer shades.

I was driving in the opposite direction at the time and only saw it quickly, so no time to take in the finer details I'm afraid.

All Harborne and Hagley Rd services seemed badly affected by traffic this morning.

A long way down the Hagley Road I know, but I noticed this morning Manor Way by my stop was even more clogged with traffic than usual (strangely in the direction heading out of Birmingham!)

33E to Kingstanding. It wouldn't be running that late if its finishing at Kingstanding can it ? Or is it a case if he went to the pheasey he would be late ?

May have been mentioned before but saw a 71E to Minworth when going to JS earlier about 1430, must be Chester Road delays as then on the other side two 67's runnning together and both DD's a ALx400 and A Gemi..... Those are my powers of observation whilst in the car.

Don't forget as the 33 is such a frequent service, it only has to be 7/8 minutes late for a bus to effectively 'be missed out'. Once two buses have joined together, it makes sense to turn the late one slightly short to get it back on time.

Obviously, on a half hourly route for instance, an 8 minute delay is probably considered 'acceptable', rather than have a one hour gap in the service on the part of the route missed out.
