I assume you mean a Scania Omnilink, which is on the 16 daily, because an Omnicity Single Decker would be rare...

Most 99s have 7 minutes layover time at Halesowen and with that route being so tightly timed, they would probably turn it if its running more than 10 minutes late.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

It could be more like 20minutes late as AVL instructions (I'm told) is the service needs to be more then half of the frequency after leaving the outer. Therefore:

20minute delay - (7minute Stag to Halesowen, + 7 minute drop back + 7 minute Halesowen to Stag) = 1minute early back at the Stag to city

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Rode a 244E to Netherton this evening, changed to a 243 to Merry Hill on arrival at Netherton.

Sh4318

I saw a 46** trident on the 45E to Cotteridge today. The rear display alternated showing '45E' and the last bit of the word 'Cotteridge'.

You'll find it should show;

45E - Cot - ter - idge

Unlike Arriva, it doesn't scroll. Just changes per 'slide'

I don't understand what the point is, that would take a while to get back to the route number while showing separate parts of the destination. Wouldn't it be easier just toggling between the route number and destination, like WB, PE and WN LEDs used to? So it would read '45E' - 'C'ridge'
