32, 33 and 79 all interwork Sundays, hence 5510 appearing on all those routes. On a Sunday evening, the 32/33 interwork with the 11 instead of the 79, but as 5510 was on a 79 running board, I doubt it will do an 11.
Matt, Most 79 boards stay on its own Sunday evenings and ooking on the board it stayed on the 79 tonight so unfortunatley not on the 11 :( ;) B7RLE's on the 11/32/3 tonight instead Matt :)

thin branches can scratch a bus too, they dont have to be big chunky logs :D
Maybe its to do with the fact that we dont all have time to read every post on every topic when we think up or see something worth posting, maybe people want to save their phone battery and just do a quick post, the use of the words "already posted" phrase is similarly as repetitive

1521 on 246 today, not sure if this will become more common now there are 10 buses on the 246, shouldn't really as there is an extra Trident (4194) and 4202 should be back soon
Matt, It can't be 59/11 as that is the morning peak board.

33 branded 4850 on the pg Private hire service yesterday evening.
Today 554, 598, 639 all on the 82. Unusual for a B6 on this service let alone 3.

There was a Merc on the 79?
Yeah, coming in to Wolverhampton about half 2, packed full, I really think the 79 needs looking at, with maybe a frequency increase in peaks, or at least ensuring its always double decked.
Didn't catch fleet number but think it was 168? Unrefurbished

Potentially, but not 100% sure, as I vaguely remember there being a Merc with a black band round the rear number blind already on stand in the bus station as I was leaving the station on the 529 as it was coming in

1682 is the only Merc with that black thing, so I guess it wasn't that. 1673 has NXWM logos but was on the 81 today, other than that you can't really tell them apart

I can imagine, sampled it a bit this week, was on it around 3:15 heading towards Wolverhampton on 4022 today and the crowds were unbelievable, it turned one of my beloved Spectra's into a snail it was that packed and now I do prefer the B5's put they are pretty useless on the 59 with that downstairs seating arrangement with the vast amount of children, OAP's and buggys whereas its less noticeable on can I say the more affluent 22/23 routes with a few more city workers etc...

None for ages to my knowledge but when WB's new E200s were diverted to BC for a few weeks to cover vehicle shortages, E200s appeared on virtually every BC route, including the 97.

639 on the 59 (On a all day board). Think it replaced 4567 which was having problems earlier.

Yes it is unusual (I live on the route so know ;)) although the extra peak time bus in an afternoon can regually be a B6 (Basically anything spare in the garage). Definetley on an all day board and think it replaced 4567

Yes, the 24 converts to fully single decker on Mon-Sat evenings, it would be very unusual to see anything else on there, except on Sunday evenings when the Hybrids stay on from the daytime in my observation. If there was a Trident on there on Sunday daytime, it would be interesting to see if it stays on in the evening, or if it gets swapped for something else

Ok i do understand :) The 935/A doesn't have branded buses because of it interworking with the 51 but the allocation of the 935A/51 is E400 so technically an E400 with branding is odd to see but that type of bus on there is common so its one of those tricky ones to post

5513 has been on the 256/257 all day. For anybody wishing to catch it, it was on the 1235 WOL-STO which means it will be on the 1345 STO-DUD, 1450 DUD-STO, 1600 STO-WOL. What happens after that, I don't know with the new timetable. There is a chance that it will go onto the 1720 WOL-MER service 255.
As I guessed, 5513 is now on the 255 working the 1720 WOL-MER service. It will then work the 1848 MER-WOL service. The new 255-257 timetable now has interworking between the 255 and 256 at Wolverhampton during the afternoon rush hour.

Well it came into Dudley around 17:10 then went to layover, but there were already four 246's in Dudley at the time with another two having left recently, so I doubt it was a 246. No idea what was up with the 246 today.

The Barr Beacon buses should more often than not be an Enviro.
On the 705 one morning journey comes off the X51, then operates the 705 followed by a single journey on the 302. The other morning bus is more often a Trident that then goes on to the 40/41 for the remainder of the day. In the PM one bus then goes on to a peak 997 board, whilst the other goes on to operate a peak 51 board.
The AM 788 service is operated by a bus off an X51 peak board, whilst the PM service then goes on to a peak 997 board also.
The 881 is operated in the morning by one Enviro which then goes on to an all day board on the 997 and another which goes off to operate the 934/5/6 for the rest of the day. In the PM peak one bus goes on to the X51 and the other goes on to a 934/935/935A/51 peak & late night board.

Yeah, something was up, my brother used it a few times today and was complaining, he only used single deckers so was quite annoyed especially as I had promised him that it would become fully double deck

A very rare working indeed WA route 4 branded Scania 1879 on 51 departing B'ham approx 1645
WN B7 2017 on 126
Very good spot with 1879 on the 51, shame a branded enviro 400 never makes it way on to the 4 or any double decker for that matter. With 18 omnilinks branded for the 4 I guess a few will go onto other services from time to time if no other buses are available.

They barely appear at all, they can't really handle the loadings to be honest, the 94 is always rammed. You might see the odd one now and again on a peak working or something but certainly rare.
Geminis are equally as rare on the 94 id say

There's always a couple of Gemini's or at the very least one a day whenever I use the 94 or catch one go past my house, deffo not as rare as an Omnilink
Geminis on the 94 are quite common, although not as common as the alx400. Omnilinks on the other hand are rare. You only see about one a month. Sometimes less.
37 branded omnilink on 31s
Also 1911 is on the 35, been a while since I saw one!

I'm also expecting more deckers to appear on the 244/276 in the evening, and who knows maybe a Sunday!
It seems most sensible to interwork the 276 in the Evenings/Sundays so you could even have the odd E400 on a Sunday!

I call it the Black Country branding as I don't know any other name for it

1898 on the x56 this morning. I suppose with only 2 journeys per day nothing is really unusual on it, but I normally see an Eclipse

Ok, so I just saw the 935 (possibly 4733, was across the road). Not necessarily that unusual but it was on Corporation Street... That bit between Dartmouth Circus and Lancaster Circus... Ie not where it should be... Anyone? Definitely was a 935 cause I had to triple take, and it definitely had people on board

Is that this morning or last night? And which 9E - Stourbridge to Halesowen or Birmingham to Quinton?
P433 jjw on the 29 to walsall usually a b7rle. Think it was about to break down as driver kept stopping and radio was going 'calling for breakdown' repeatedly. Made it into walsall though :) have to ssay despite being older the refurbed interiors floor seats of these put arriva's cannock based darts and route 1 branded buses to shame :)

Yet another President this morning on the 37 spotted in Acocks Green around 07:28 headed towards Solihull; three days in a row now so fast becoming 'usual', though there really shouldn't be one on there, unless it's a 'placer' and changes to something else at Solihull (73 or 966?).

2080 definitely is on an all day board, not as sure about 2082
Yeah they both are
were are the Enviro's then ? I thought one worked a peak board but didn't know they did all day boards
No the peak boards are usually Enviros with the odd Trident. Bear in mind 4201 is somewhere on the 9 as well.
First time I've ever seen it, not one but two bendis on this afternoon's Sutton schools services, southbound through Walmley. Both displayed "Contract". First I didn't get, second was 6026.

The afternoon one if I remember rightly is 15:45 from WB although I could be getting mixed up, not sure on the morning one.
Logically it would make sense for them to come from BC. What I'm more interested in is which batch, I'm hoping for some 44**s

I really can't say which, as far as I'm concerned it could be 41** 44** or 46**s, 43**s are the only ones I'm ruling out

Logic would say they are coming from BC along with further B7RLE, surely if the new 26 x E400's are due for PB (Sutton Lines), the only way they can cascade out anything to BC is by the earlier toothpaste 07/57 plate E400's moving to BC to release them. The rest of the PB fleet is non standard to BC & generally Volvo. The other question then is what would be used to upgrade the 94 that Simon (NXOD) quoted would be happening in early 2014?
Just to answer a few questions on here,
Winston, I presume all of the 07/57 plate E400's will stay at PB as i'm sure it was said on here that they will upgrage the 94 (And presumably go onto other PB routes.) It would then be logical to send some Gemini's or ALX400 B7TL to replace the older mercs.
Matt, I think that the 53 double deck board is an all day board that covers that busy afternoon journey as karl i'm pretty sure said that it will cover the morning as well
One Unusual Working today
2006 on WN 59 all day
Not unusual really but 581 was on the 59 this morning (Morning peak board). First time i have seen 581 on the 59 at any time plus 1682 on the afternoon board so a total of 3 single deckers on the 59 today
4196 276
2123 was on the 11C this arvo, passing the Tesco at Aston just after 4pm.
I'm not a regular round there but never seen a single decker on the 11 before. Behind it within around 150m were 3 other 11C's all 40xx's so must have been a traffic shambles.
unusual or not?

3 11'C together - Not unusual ;) :D
I saw a convoy of 4 11C passing through Kings Heath at about 5, then 20 minutes later when I went to catch mine home, 3 came together... nothing new there!

It does the 9:23 241 from Dudley so should arrive at Halesowen at 9:50, then goes and lays over up Andrew Road which always looks strange, then leaves on the 10:05 241, arriving at Dudley just after 10:30 then goes out service. I think it goes on the 74/75 later on as well but not sure

Enviro 400 4809 on the 205. It operated the 1329 from Wall Heath (Blaze Park). I think this is probably the first double decker I have seen on the Dudley to Wall Heath portion of the route since Harts Hill garage closed.

Brilliant spot Roy! Very rare, that is. I saw 4809 (blue megarear) on the 9 this morning thuogh
It was definitely 4809 - I followed the blue megarear from Blaze Park to Kingswinford on a 255.
I've got a pic of it in Dudley just now heading kingswinford bound on a 205E so I will post it when I get home

I just saw that too. I had just taken a picture and was heading to the 241 as it went past.
There was an E200 on the 80 earlier (I think 817) if this is at all interesting? All the other 80s I saw were deckers.

Depends if it stayed on there all day or not. If it did, it's unusual. If it didn't, it is usual

Most likely yes, I'd say it was just a peak time working. Furthermore I dislike spotting at peak times as it isn't a true rare working, in my honest opinion.

yes 21:30 Birmingham to Dudley into Dudley at 22:14.

Not too unusual to get an Enviro400 on the 16. 4858 is from Walsall though branded for the 51
4721 on the 65 is unusual

Don't know if any of these are actually unusual, I just saw some busses in places I don't recall seeing them before while I was walking across town:
4721 - 65
4858 - 16

An ADL Enviro400 is unusual on the 16, a Trident Enviro400 is not though
Thanks for the replies and apologies that I can't type on my phone very well. It was actually 4856

Matt everyday this week I've been in Town and seen a new enviro (4853 - 4856) on the 16 at least once. But your right it is usually a "trident enviro"

I agree with Kevin. Any Enviro400 appears on the 16 when there is one on there

Not unusual 4006. It was on the 59 Morning Peak board that is allocated a B6 most days. Been a B6 on every morning for the past 2 weeks :)
