Today 554, 598, 639 all on the 82. Unusual for a B6 on this service let alone 3.
824 on the 276 later the 205.

No it isn't. B6's are now the main allocation alongside mercs on the 82 hence why 3 were on there

There was a Merc on the 79?

Yeah, coming in to Wolverhampton about half 2, packed full, I really think the 79 needs looking at, with maybe a frequency increase in peaks, or at least ensuring its always double decked.

Didn't catch fleet number but think it was 168? Unrefurbished

It wasn't 1682 with its white panel (instead of blue) around the Mercedes badge, and the black panel at the top of the rear, was it?

Potentially, but not 100% sure, as I vaguely remember there being a Merc with a black band round the rear number blind already on stand in the bus station as I was leaving the station on the 529 as it was coming in

1682 is the only Merc with that black thing, so I guess it wasn't that. 1673 has NXWM logos but was on the 81 today, other than that you can't really tell them apart

Nice spot with that Merc on the 79 though, nobody else had reported it!

Would have been worrying, driver probably had to guess the route around the bridges, and miss some stops out on Station Road
