Just a thought, PE's Enviro's must be proving themselves to be quite reliable so far as 823 is very rarely to be seen on the 222, and I'll be honest its good PE are putting newer singles were possible on the X96 because its a monster of a route with lots of passengers, lots of hills and lots of miles with very very little layover time

To be honest, the PE ones seem very hard worked, they don't seem to have much layover time at either Dudley or Merry Hill.

As long as it doesn't come out that they are doing to many miles!!!

That must be it's second home. Saying that I have never seen it on the 222!

It has been on the 222, but usually if they are short on the 222, its a B6 or a Merc.

It seems more unusual to get 823 on the 222 than it is any other PE route!
