Is their technique you spotters go about implementing when taking a shot of a bus ?! I just grab my phone and providing I can see either the reg or fleet number, I'll take the photo !

I can't really comment from bus spotter's point of view, but for trains, I wait until it is completely stationery, if possible I'll take a picture of the train from the next adjacent platform so that I can get a better view of the train, most importantly I aim to get all of the train in the photo
