Went on the route from Halesowen to brum on x10. 6121 was the bus. One of the worst e400mmc for power, but the driver was excellent, not waiting behind other buses which shouldn't happen anyway but occasionally does. Loading to the bus was not at a designated bus stand but oh well, and the driver stopped at the stop after bearwood despite not meant to. Amazing how many people hold their hands out still for the x10, I bet the drivers love it when they go sailing past. It was a lot quicker than the 9 I must admit, I just hoped they would have made it express from Halesowen to merry hill.

6116 - 6122 have always felt more powerful to me, that was until 6103 started working properly  8)

6121 must have been slow because of the weight it was carrying @pndriver @Dom

Presumably he meant the bus was full of people rather than the passengers on X10 are overweight (which would be considered offensive). Or maybe it refers to the driver being overweight..... also offensive though.

I found Trident 4194's post one of the more informative for this thread.

4196 on 9- what a excellent bus.

Has streetlite been swapped as pretty sure I saw all of them on 9 on pretty much consecutive boards?

When you say consecutive board, what exactly do you mean?

I saw 4196 NIS in Lye around 10:15ish.

Also Streetdeck seen going through Oldswinford around 11am. Running light to Halesowen because of late running or is this on a board as I have seen this several times lately?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Any sign of the Dudley bus review or has it been scrapped?

Just received following from Network West Midlands:

"Dear Mr  Harris

Dudley Bus Review

Thank you for contacting Transport for West Midlands, the transport arm of the West Midlands Combined authority on 27th September regarding the next Dudley Bus Review.  I am sorry for the time it has taken to respond to your query.

A review of the bus network in the Sandwell and Dudley area is planned to take place in the spring 2017.

It is planned the review will be supported by a public consultation of the proposed service changes.

At this stage it is not known how many services will be covered in the review.

I hope this information is useful and I thank you for taking the time to get in touch.

Kind regards

 Martine Patrick
