Thanks Winston, I'll keep my eye on the 9 as well but I think that's a bit much to ask!

I think a B6LE has appeared on there before, so never say never....

Any news on b6s today?

586 has gone back to Wolverhampton, replaced by 1670 which is staying at Pensnett
662 is currently in Lye High Street (don't know what route it is on)

Please no, surely there are better Mercs in the reserve pool?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Has 662 gone back to wn?

849 at PN

On loan i presume? To cover the Double Deckers currently out of action?

Any bets on what route it will be used on. I'd like to see it "accidentally" appear on the 9 personally!!

Don't think it ran for Pensnett, just visiting. It was on the 27 until lunchtime yesterday and is back at WN now
849 broke down sent to pn so the driver had 586 back

PE's fleet is going backwards at the minute with B6's back and old Mercs!! Surely PE must be in line for cascades or new buses to clear these Mercs very soon?

Any sign of deckers returning to the 276 which must be far more needed than B6's?

But up until today they were five deckers down, 4353 has now returned from refurb, 4355 is toasted & 4194, 4197 & 4827 were all in the deadbox awaiting their turn in the engineering bays or for parts/major units.

PN should be on the receiving end of 27 cascades/new vehicles during 2015, as with 250 new buses due, the Mercs will be the first to go.

Nothing can move now until the next new deliveries start to arrive

Hadnt realised so many were out of service except our fried one of course. Thanks. Good to hear 2015 should be the year of change at PE.  Presume a lot more deckers will be on their way?

I had a drive by the garage Thurs on route to the Golden Arches for brekkie  ;). 4194 was recovered from WB bus station by Mansfield a few days earlier. 4827 has lower front panels & lower rear panels around the engine compartment missing. Not sure on 4197. 4355 is parked facing the face & unlikely to be repaired?

I would think the 276 might get it's deckers back & those B7RLE's might replace Mercs on other single deck routes, the 243/244 may get new E200's as has been suggested previously. I did think PN may get further B7RLE's from another garage as well?

Roy

If anybody is chasing 662 today, it left Merry Hill at 1120 on the 243.
