4809 and 4196 (or 4194 can't quite remember) in convoy on the 140 this evening, 18:15 at Hagley Road/Wolverhampton Road junction towards Dudley.

The 140/241 are getting a lot of deckers at the moment, plus one or more could have been an afternoon peak which get deckers anyway

All of the 140/241s I saw apart from the Merc were deckers today

went past PE today, 4135 is now inside the garage, presumably having its engine replaced. Only 5 buses were available for service, 4 Enviros & a Trident, no singles available.

Currently sat on 1706 on 276. Sounding great and also noticed that certain pieces of graffiti that have been on the vehicle since autumn 2011 have finally been removed. How often do the Mercs at PE get a good go over? Theres a few others with shiny hubcaps as well

Also, todays daytime 276 has been Mercs and plastic crap. 53/289 a few deckers, mostly 41xx Tridents with the better Trident selection being on the 246

PN trident lost a tree deflector, was parked up at merry hill with inspector looking at it. Think it was 4195 but not 100% sure

No 41xx or 43xx Trident has tree deflectors? Only the 45xx & 46xx has them.

I've noticed some Tridents have a Metro-typical rust/damage hole in the upper nearside corner, was typical of unrefurbished Metros, battered to hell haha

Possibly the reason then, it did look like it had a crack there which is why i assumed it had lost a tree deflector. Never realised they didn't have them in the first place haha
