It will be strange to see PE routes with Dot Matrix displays like 246,141,9,140/241,120 and
and 243/4

Except on 4199 which has got LEDs!

Right so am I missing something C's I can't actually be arsed to read back (lol) but are pensnett getting a load of Y plate tridents? If so, for what routes?

Stu

From what has been stated previously, it appears Pensnett will soon receive approx 10 Tridents from BC, which are most probably for the 246, but will no doubt slip onto other services when needed too.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Just seen 4194/4195, well presume its 4195 as its parked at the back against the farside wall. Wonder if PE ,will send 4194 for a repaint?

interestingly 1645 is still being worked on, surely it's not receiving another new engine?

also, still under attention is 544, would have thought, with the end of the B6s at PE Imminent, that they would not be wasting time & resources on them?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Stu, although the B6LE are coming off at PE the better ones could still move on to WA, WB & WN to replace any of theirs which are proving unreliable until permanent replacements are ordered?

I still can't quite believe the end of B6 operation at PE is near, will be a sad day (for some) when they all go, anyone got a number of the peak amount they once operated, I imagine its around the 50 ish mark, good buses the B6, obviously there was the absolute sheds but they've all gone and the ones left are great

Can't rememeber the exact figure, but I think it was in the region of 53-55 in total

There were definitely 55 in Oct 2007. Not sure if there has been more at another time.
