I'm going to miss them, hope the replacements from PB/YW are good. I still need to photo 4815, 4817 and 4821 before they move as getting them on the 50 will be much more difficult for me

Will be interesting if we get the 25 from YW and any from PB, my gut feeling it will be 25 Enviros from YW (which will be more than enough to operate the 9) and 5 Mercs from somewhere else to cover the short fall. Just my feeling!

I do sincerely hope not, the 9 could do with a couple more workings as it is! Coupled with the 141, what's going to run that? The only way I can see PE benefiting is 30 newish Enviro's for say 35 older ones because no doubt there will be slightly more reliability issues, what with 4801 being towed this morning.

I do hope not to, although PE have been trying out B7RLEs on the 141 of late!

Reliability with older Enviros will certainly be an issue, although hopefully they won't brand them so they can be used on a variety of routes and not get stuck on the 9 which is quite an intensive route!

I do wonder how these X96 branded buses will fair in the long run, after all it is a virtually non stop route going circular around both Wrens Nest & Wollaston Farm.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Gonna miss the whine of 4814

New Dudley Road branding spotted this morning on a Gemini on the 87, fantastic design but why did they have to make it all pink, the colour clash with the red is awful and will make fading paint even worse

Gareth

Saw it on 4706 this afternoon. Looks very smart and of similar style to other brandings. The pink colour isn't the best for standing out on the red though. Especially above the doors and around the windscreen.

Do we know which geminis are going to carry this branding? Assume its the refurbed ones but 4706 isn't in the new cargo white livery is it?

As 4715 is branded (It has never carried branding before), it would look like most if not all of the 47**'s will eventually gain branding, whatever livery they are in, new red/white or with connection bars.

4194 and 4195 de-branded from Bristol Rd branding.

None of the other Bristol Rd buses were out to see or at the front of the garage so unsure if they too have been de-branded...

4198 and 4199 now debranded from the Bristol Rd.

Not much green branding left at Central. 3 Bristol Rds, 5 Alum Rocks and however many 97s still remain

I don't think any 97's are still branded.

Could it mean new buses coming for the brum garages or refurbs coming up for them or maybe cascades to other dpots for better ones in return?

JB93

It's probably to make way for refurbs and then eventual newer branding like the ones we're seeing on the 82/87, 5, 37, 4, X96 etc.

I know the 97 will get new branding when it extends to the airport. And main corridors like the Bristol Rd., Pershore Rd. will most probably get new branding. The 14 I'm not so sure, I always found it strange they branded the route anyway - it's a busy route but it's not one of their showcase routes. I'd love to see some new Coventry Rd. branding on some Tridents and B7RLE's, something really colourful and imaginative.

Excluding 4816, I make it only 7 PE Enviros remaining with Hagley Road branding (4812/18/20/24/25/28/29)

However one or two may have been debranded since as I recently stopped photographing the Enviros (got them all). I'll write them on a scrap of paper, carry it with me and tick them off if/when I see any debranded

Update: 4818 and 4828 debranded, this leaves only 4812/20/24/25/29

I think the colours used on the 51 or X51 would be suitable :) but that's my opinion

Something like the Dudley Road Branding (but different colour)

That only leaves 4829 now :). I wonder if the 47**s will be branded for the Hagley Road when they transfer
