Route De-Branding

Bordesley Merc operation seems to be thin on the ground now. The only Merc I saw was de-branded 1702 on the 55A. Every 8A/C I saw was Omnilink.

This time next year the Omnilinks will be an absolute wreck.

Not at all! The 8 has had Mercs since they were new, and they were in good condition on the whole. few had rattles, but that's about it.

I had misconceptions about the 8 until I started using it regularly from last year. Its nowhere near as bad as people make out. It can have reliability issues at times, but its much, much better anti social behaviour wise than many Birmingham bus routes!

I wonder if the omnilinks will gain some sort of branding for the inner circle but as theres not many NXWM livery omnilinks i doubt it at the present time.

I cannot remember the last time I got on an 8 that stunk of weed, likewise I cannot remember the last time I got on a 14 that didnt!

I don't know if it has been mentioned but 4674 has lost it's 11 branding and it's connection bars.

1660 is now De-Branded was on the 17 yesterday seen it while I was on Endeavour Coach L2 END going to Blackpool

4675 & 4679 have lost their Outer Circle Branding, 4675 was out on the 37 this morning & 4679 was on the 5

Ready for the route changes then. The 404 branding could have stayed, just tweaked a little to show Merry Hill and Halesowen.

Yeah it could of been tweaked it could be that the 09 reg omnilinks get branded for the 404 and upgraded from the 15 '58' reg ones at present.
