Why did you have to make another topic about this Fenton, just go to general discussion and the talk is all in the November service changes

According to what I've seen, replaced by route number 98. similar-ish route but not at the same time. A9 replaced by 99.

So you've seen a "post on Facebook" and want us to confirm if it is true or not? But don't tell us exactly what was said?  

TfWM inadvertently revealed (before changing the service changes page) that there are changes in July and August, but nothing so far for September, apart from the usual timetable reversion following the school holidays.

The 73 change in September is probably just the reintroduction of the 73S school journey.

73 and A9 are mostly replaced with new 98 and 99 services, but that isn't happening until January 2026.

The Quote on Facebook had comments suggesting the currently A9 and 73 were to be replaced by 98/99 - Which is old news as Stu says as it's covered in the November topic

The only "new" thing mentioned on the page (if true!) - is the 169 is being bolted on to the NX 27 , Extended to Rubery Great Park at the other end as well.

73 and A9 are mostly replaced with new 98 and 99 services, but that isn't happening until January 2026.

A new operator will run the 73/A9 from the October or November changes then they will be replaced by 98/99 in Jan
