Strange enough if he looks at the same stations he will find the same fares as me.

Unfortunately for Mark he does live in the West Midlands, and WM stations to Manchester come under Arriva Cross Country rip of fares, whereas I can book North from Rugeley Rugeley Trent Valley which is in the Stafford group of stations so is much cheaper heading North
